Weatherford Elementary School House System
Four Houses - Learning as One!
Did you know that Weatherford Elementary School has a house system? Just like in the Harry Potter books, our students and staff are divided into 4 houses, each one representing character traits from our Eagle Code:
Be Respectful
Be Responsible
Be a Problem-Solver
Be a Changemaker
Be an Upstander
Do your Personal Best
You are a Weatherford Eagle!
Students are randomly assigned a house when they begin attending Weatherford, and they stay in the same house through 5th grade! All houses include students and staff from all grade levels.
The goal of our house system is to build friendships, encourage excellent behavior, and boost our Eagle Pride! Students can earn points for their house with good behavior. Each month, we have a house assembly (students are encouraged to dress in their house colors!) to celebrate our houses, student achievements, and award the monthly house winner!
