Open Board Positions

We would love to have you join us on the Weatherford PTA Board!  We have a few open positions for the 2023 - 2024 school year.  If you are interested in serving please let us know! president@weatherfordpta.org

2nd Vice President - Ways and Means

The main function of the ways and means position is to arrange for fundraisers to support the PTA budget which in turn supports the goals established by the PTA board.  The position also establishes special event committees and can appoint committee chairs to organize events.

4th Vice President - Volunteers

The main function of the VP of volunteers is to arrange for volunteers for various PTA events throughout the school year.  The VP of Volunteers coordinates with the Ways & Means and President positions to determine the needs for various volunteers and arrange with appropriate groups, including NHS and NJHS groups from local high schools and middle schools, to provide the needed assistance.

OPEN Committee POSITIONS

We have several committees that serve to coordinate fundraising events and activities throughout the year.  Joining a committee is a great way to get to know other PTA members, and to help the school! These committees work with the PTA board to plan and prepare for these events that benefit our PTA.  Interested? Contact president@weatherfordpta.org

Spring Fundraiser

Our Spring fundraiser helps to raise funds to cover field trips, end of year parties and more. This committee will help to plan our fundraiser, including fun incentives for students and staff who participate and raise funds for our PTA!

Silent Auction

Also in the spring, we have a silent auction to benefit our PTA. This event usually occurs in conjunction with Cultural Heritage Night.  This committee will work to acquire auction items from local businesses and the school, and plan and prepare for the event.
