Open Board Positions
We would love to have you join us on the Weatherford PTA Board! We have a few open positions for the 2025 - 2026 school year. If you are interested in serving please let us know by emailing president@weatherfordpta.org or filling out this interest form: WE PTA Board Interest Form
- Programs VP - Plan events (Trunk or Treat, Science Night, etc) to engage and educate our families!
- Membership VP - Encourage families and staff to join our PTA
- Fundraising VP - Plan fundraisers to support the financial goals of the PTA
- Volunteers VP - Inform families of volunteer opportunities throughout the year
- Secretary - Record minutes at each board and membership meeting
- Treasurer - Take care of financial records and budgets for the PTA
- Hospitality - Treat our staff! Plan treats and meals for our staff including Teacher Appreciation Week in May
- Spirit Wear - Help our community show school spirit by coordinating the design and sales of shirts and other spirit items
- Yearbook - Create our annual yearbook
- Webmaster - Update our PTA website to keep families informed
- Corresponding Secretary - Coordinate monthly staff birthday treats
- Council Delegate - Attend Plano Council PTA meetings and report helpful information to the board
- School Supplies - Compile grade level supply lists, the facilitate the purchase of supply packs for families
- Social Media - Help keep our families informed by updating our Instagram and Facebook pages
- Holiday Shop - Plan and coordinate the Holiday Shop for our students in December
